the ultra beasts are coming to pokemon go and it's finally official but how good are they actually pokemon go tweeted this teaser video that reveals the first ultra beast Niall ego and lucky for me I was actually already planning to make this video since uh it was revealed that unknown u and b would be appearing at global go fest I figured that probably stands for ultra beasts I should make a video about the ultra beasts and here we are it's been officially announced or teased so let's talk about the ultra beasts how good are they in pokemon go the ultra beasts were introduced in pokemon sun and moon and they're like legendary pokemon that came from wormholes in space so it would actually be really cool to see them show up in a more interesting way than just popping up on top of a gym for a raid if maybe some wormholes

opened up in pokemon go we don't know how that's gonna happen they're probably just gonna be in raids, to be honest, but let's look at their stats and their moves and talk about how strong they're going to be starting with nya lego nail ego is a jellyfish thing but its name really speaks to my emo soul it is a rock and poison type pokemon and it's gonna max out at 4465 cp its base stats in pokemon go will be 249 attacks 210 defense and 240 hp which is actually really good just for reference Mewtwo's base stats are 300 attacks 182 defense and 214 hp so keep that in mind it's just a little frame of reference when we talk about these stats now going back to Niall eagle's moveset we can actually kind of guess at what moves it's going to learn because in pokemon go pokemon can only learn moves that they learn in the main series games so we can look through the list of moves that all of these ultra beasts learn normally and at

least pick out which ones they might learn in pokemon go so looking at nia logo's moves unfortunately it doesn't learn smackdown or rock throw which means it's probably not going to have access to a good rock type fast to move it does learn rock slide which is a good charge move and because its stats are so good it might still be okay as a rock type attacker even with a different type fast move now as a poison type it does learn poison jab and sludge bomb which is probably the best offensive moveset as a raid attacker or as a gym attacker and just for reference the next closest poison type that's currently in pokemon go is rose raid with 243 attack but nia logo's other stats are better than roserade so it would become probably one of the best poison type attackers in the game moving on to the next ultra beast buzzwole I'm definitely the wrong person to be flexing uh buzzword is a bug and fighting type pokemon that maxes out at

3922 cp it has 236 base attack 197 defense and 216 hp and for reference machamp and konkelder both have 234 base attack but they both have lower defense so buzzwole does get all the good fighting type moves it learns counter dynamic punch and close combat meaning it's probably going to be a very good fighting type attacker, unfortunately, it doesn't get any good bug moves but to be honest we don't really use bug type attackers for almost anything in pokemon go so buzzwole overall probably going to be up there as a fighting type attacker next up is ferramosa which is a what is it it's like a little silver fish like a bug you'd find in the back of your grandma's closet uh it's also bug and fighting type but it maxes out at 3213 cp it's kind of a glass can and it has 316 base attack 174 hp and 85

defense so for comparison a glass cannon that we're probably all familiar with alakazam has 167 base defense so if you think about how quickly alakazam gets demolished in battle pheramos is going down twice as fast and then if we look at potential moves it doesn't learn counter so it's not going to have a good fighting type attack moveset it's bug moves are also bad it doesn't get any of the good ones so it's you should probably just leave it in the back your grandma's closet feramosa probably not gonna be good in pokemon go next up we have circuitry is an electric type pokemon that maxes out at 4451 cp it has 330 base attack 144 defense and 195 hp so to compare that to a current top electric type attacker zekrom has 275 attacks but it does have higher

defensive stats so circuitry will be more of a glass cannon it's going to deal more damage than zero but it's also going to take more damage as for moves it gets all the good ones it gets thundershock it gets wild charge it gets thunderbolt so there's a very good chance that circuitry will be a very good glass cannon electric type attacker in pokemon go up next is cela stila which is a I honestly don't know what is it it's this it's a steel and flying type pokemon that maxes out at 3507 cp it has 219 base hp 207 attacks and 199 defense unfortunately with those stats it's not going to compete with metagross as a steel type attacker it's not going to compete with rayquaza and moltres as a flying type attacker so it's not going to be good in raids but it could be interesting in PVP if Niantic gets creative with its moveset it does have decent stats decent defensive stats kind

of all-around stats so could be useful in PVP ultimately depends on what moves it ends up getting here's a fun one Cortana Cortana is a grass and steel type pokemon that maxes out at 4156 cp it has a massive base attack 182 defense and 139 hp which are almost the same stats very similar stats to mega sceptile now as for potential moves its best choices right now are razor leaf and leaf blade which will be familiar if you're using pokemon like shadow victory bell and then as a steel type it doesn't even learn any of the steel type attacks that we currently have in pokemon go so so unless Niantic adds more moves to the pokemon go move pool Cortana definitely not going to be a good steel type attacker but it definitely has potential as a grass type look at this big boy guzzled is a dark and dragon type pokemon

it maxes out at 3 264 cp and it has an insane 440 base hp it has 188 base attack and 99 base defense so to compare that to something you're familiar with blissey has 496 hp and 169 defense so guzzlord even though it has massive hp it's not as big defensively as bliss and of course with those stats its potential lies only in PVP it's not going to be a good raid attacker but it does have a lot of interesting moves that could be used in pvp like bite dragon tail poison jab crunch body slam sludge bomb so there's definitely potential for guzzlord to make an impact in whatever leagues it fits in definitely ultra league might not be strong enough for master league and maybe depending on its cp you might be able to get it small enough for the great league but I'm not sure on

that actually next up is naganodel i don't know how to pronounce it that's my guess though that's what we're going with this is an interesting one because it actually evolves from people so I'm interested to see how this gets implemented if poiple is in raids it's probably not going to be that difficult of a raid boss so it'll be interesting if it's that way or maybe it's through special research or some other way but it does evolve so we're going to look at the evolved form naganodel poison and dragon type and max is out at 3587 cp with 263 base attack 177 hp and 159 defense to compare that to existing poison and dragon types roserade has 243 attacks and rayquaza has 284 attacks now there is another pokemon coming in the future dragapolt and dragapolt as a dragon just has better stats across the board when you compare it to naganodel so already we know there's another pokemon coming in the future that's just going

to completely outclass this but it does actually learn some pretty decent moves it learns poison jab and sludge bomb which we talked about earlier are the best poison type attacking moves and it learns dragon claw and outrage so if you want to invest in it definitely could be useful just know that it's going to be outclassed whenever dragapolt comes to pokemon go our next ultra beast is taka which is a stack of rocks it's a rock and steel type pokemon that maxes out at 3724 cp it has 213 base attack 156 base hp and 298 base defense only Lugia Reggie ice and Reggie rock have higher base defense than stack attacker and with a respectable 213 base attack it could actually be an okay tanky pokemon to use as an attacker it does have pretty decent moves rock throw rock slide for rock type attacks it can

also learn body slam and earthquake so it could be interesting as like a heatran style tanky raid anchor or potentially in PVP as well and finally, we have blacephalon what the heck is by cephalon it's a fire and ghost type pokemon it maxes out at 3727 cp it has a massive 315 base attack 148 defense and 142 hp so definitely a glass cannon to compare that to other fire and ghost type pokemon mega Gengar has 349 base attack and mega Charizard has 319 base attack so blissephalon does actually learn good moves in both ghost and fire types it learns shadow claw and shadow all which is probably the best ghost type attacking moveset it also learns fire spin and overheats two of the strongest fire type moves so this is definitely a candidate for a glass

apparently massive and right now not all that busy it is early access right now so there are two separate tickets you know you can get early access if you want to play extra hours and of course, for the sake of the video we always want to play extra hours you know it's kind of a shame that with this giant Snorlax here Snorlax isn't actually a featured spawn we're gonna have to wait for uh another event for that there were some core fish here that I was going to check but instead we're just going to look at Snorlax where'd the crawfish go were they back here's something showed up I got a soul rock to check no hey Pikachu Pikachu can you check this for me [Music] shiny soul rock thanks Pikachu bye have fun we did it Pikachu totally got me my first shiny that was a hundred percent legitimate reaction uh soul rock which is

good morning lovelies zoetwodots here with some more pokemon go goodness for you and today we're gonna jump into a nice little breakdown of how to best maximize your gameplay days for pokemon go fest 2022 so we're going to jump into first of all what's the best mega to evolve this event to get the most out of candies and for raid battles and things like that best tips and tricks for optimizing your star piece your incense all that sort of stuff in-game tips out of game tips and then at the end we'll do a quick little refresh on like the structure for the day and the event details so first things first why would you want to mega evolve anything for any reason uh one of the best reasons to mega evolve especially for events or for game days like go fest or community days is because you can get extra candy when you catch a pokemon with a corresponding type to your mega pokemon hello william are you corresponding to oh my god oh my god that was the worst jump i've ever seen attempted say hello to everyone say hello to everyone

you're going to interrupt you have to be cute so I guess an example is if you have a mega slow bro every time you catch grass or an ice type pokemon you'll get extra candy for that court pokemon like an oddish for example because you have that mega activated and why do you want more candy plenty of reasons especially if you're someone who is grinding towards level 40 level 50 there are certain tasks that require you to progress to level 50 where you have to max out a certain number of pokemon to level 50. like you have to completely max them out you're gonna need excel you're gonna need candies and a lot of them to do that or if there's just really rare pokemon that you want to get extra candy for example axio is going to be featured for go first we barely ever ever ever see that it's in 10k eggs it is in the wild but like I know people that still have not caught an ax you since it's been out full stop never see the shadow on the nearby so maybe you're going to want to get more candy to even just be able to evolve one so I went through and i tallied up all of the spawns essentially every hour that has different rotations all of the announced featured pokemon for guest

made a list counted up all their types and then from there found the best mega that you want to evolve first off here is just the list of if you evolve this this is how many pokemon this will you know correspond with so you can see here slowbro and obama snow being the best picks with 19 and 14 unique pokemon in terms of coverage overall for this go fest there is a lot of grass psychic water and ice like a lot of volume for that and sadly you can see at the bottom there um you know altair with the dragon types like coverage of two which is like the only dragon type besides some of the ones in raids on the sunday is axe you that is the only featured dragon type so you're gonna get a lot of bulk coverage out of mega evolving a dragon type so the the question remains what is the best mega to evolve and the real answer is whichever one suits you best looking at this list you might see that there are some things that just have terrible coverage but for you maybe axe is your favorite amy extra you never see and you need those one extra dragon candy per catch that one extra extra candy you need that so maybe that's the

best choice for you maybe you don't really care about axe u and you want to just grind grass type so your absolute favorite pick what's best for you if you want bulk bulk bulk coverage a bomber snow or slow bro is what i would recommend additional bonuses for obama snow and slobro as well if you have got your slowbro it's going to help boost water moves in raids if you're like trying to do raids against groudon so that's going to help them but a bomber snow is going to have a boosting for grass which is going to help against kyogre and groudon if you're doing those raids so i feel like the overall like king of bulk is going to be a bomber snow if you can mega one just for the extra candy coverage even if you don't care about it you might as well do one plus for the raid coverage as well additionally to factor in a bomber snow will cover the unique things like tropius if you love doing gbl and you want to catch all those tropius it has coverage there for the grass typing get your extra candies you know power up one that you want to use in pvp and it will also cover shaymin as well so you throw that ball at your shaman from the research one extra candy in there too if that matters for you if you do want to

maximize for your dragon types for your axe you i would really recommend evolving one of the latios latias or mega charizard x because at least they have some other coverage with psychic dragon or fire dragon but again the right choice is whatever one you need that's pretty much it for megas um i'm gonna set an alarm this is first hot tip i'm gonna set an alarm for 10 am on the saturday 10 a.m on the sunday that just says mega something for the love of god zoe because i've so many of the latest events i've just forgotten to make evolve anything alarms are your friend just set a little alarm in your clock on your phone so that you remember to do it i sometimes set alarms throughout the day as well around midday or in the afternoon to remind myself for putting on incense again putting on star pieces lucky eggs whatever it might be because hot tip number two even though you can stack up you know 5 10 20 20 24 hours you can stack up 24 hours of dark pieces lucky eggs you can just back to back drop them now and stack them up which is great i'm someone who's like really not stingy but i like to be very efficient with my things if i know i'm

this is your reminder open up your storage right now and start clearing out start deleting stuff you don't want to have to be trying to micromanage your storage on the day if you manage to get some coins from defending gyms maybe now's the time to upgrade your storage a little bit but i have got several videos on how to best go through your storage and clear out but for a quick you know tldr the way that i recommend doing it is sort by recent do it you know your bulk cleanse whatever like the latest events are that you haven't been through clear them out and once you've transferred those you know most recent things you don't need sort by number this is like this is critical sort by recent first then sort by number you will find hundreds more things just sitting in there that have just somehow slipped through sort by number and you know do one generation per night from now until you know go fest day or something but more than likely you have hatched or caught something that is better iv than what you currently have in your own storage and you'll see oh why do i have 17 you know 81 iv bulbasaur when i now have my my hundo or my 98 or my whatever

and you can you know trade to a friend delete transfer order it might be get yourself cleared out and ready for go fest keep in mind as well as of june 1st for the season bonus there's a lot of incentives for trading so if you want to do some bulk trades with friends before go first now be the time to do it to just clear each other's storage out item prep if you need to do a couple of item laps and just grab balls ball balls you don't want to have to be running out of balls on go fest daisies big event days are item consumptive even if it's to the point where you delete a lot of your potions and revives you'll probably be able to get those back anyway if you're doing the raids on a saturday or sunday uh i would say make sure you have enough balls to not get stuck i guess and for irl tips honestly guys i know i've said this a billion times pack the night before get yourself a backpack ready get your charge banks charged up go pluses charge them up if you need a replacement battery for the old school ones get that sorted out now make your lunch or lunch reservations the night before just have it all kind of done and ready water bottles in the freezer if you're in the northern hemisphere make sure you stay

good morning lovelies zoetwodots here with some more pokemon go goodness for you and today we're gonna jump into a nice little breakdown of how to best maximize your gameplay days for pokemon go fest 2022 so we're going to jump into first of all what's the best mega to evolve this event to get the most out of candies and for raid battles and things like that best tips and tricks for optimizing your star piece your incense all that sort of stuff in-game tips out of game tips and then at the end we'll do a quick little refresh on like the structure for the day and the event details so first things first why would you want to mega evolve anything for any reason uh one of the best reasons to mega evolve especially for events or for game days like go fest or community days is because you can get extra candy when you catch a pokemon with a corresponding type to your mega pokemon hello william are you corresponding to oh my god oh my god that was the worst jump i've ever seen attempted say hello to everyone say hello to everyone

you're going to interrupt you have to be cute so I guess an example is if you have a mega slow bro every time you catch grass or an ice type pokemon you'll get extra candy for that court pokemon like an oddish for example because you have that mega activated and why do you want more candy plenty of reasons especially if you're someone who is grinding towards level 40 level 50 there are certain tasks that require you to progress to level 50 where you have to max out a certain number of pokemon to level 50. like you have to completely max them out you're gonna need excel you're gonna need candies and a lot of them to do that or if there's just really rare pokemon that you want to get extra candy for example axio is going to be featured for go first we barely ever ever ever see that it's in 10k eggs it is in the wild but like I know people that still have not caught an ax you since it's been out full stop never see the shadow on the nearby so maybe you're going to want to get more candy to even just be able to evolve one so I went through and i tallied up all of the spawns essentially every hour that has different rotations all of the announced featured pokemon for guest

made a list counted up all their types and then from there found the best mega that you want to evolve first off here is just the list of if you evolve this this is how many pokemon this will you know correspond with so you can see here slowbro and obama snow being the best picks with 19 and 14 unique pokemon in terms of coverage overall for this go fest there is a lot of grass psychic water and ice like a lot of volume for that and sadly you can see at the bottom there um you know altair with the dragon types like coverage of two which is like the only dragon type besides some of the ones in raids on the sunday is axe you that is the only featured dragon type so you're gonna get a lot of bulk coverage out of mega evolving a dragon type so the the question remains what is the best mega to evolve and the real answer is whichever one suits you best looking at this list you might see that there are some things that just have terrible coverage but for you maybe axe is your favorite amy extra you never see and you need those one extra dragon candy per catch that one extra extra candy you need that so maybe that's the

best choice for you maybe you don't really care about axe u and you want to just grind grass type so your absolute favorite pick what's best for you if you want bulk bulk bulk coverage a bomber snow or slow bro is what i would recommend additional bonuses for obama snow and slobro as well if you have got your slowbro it's going to help boost water moves in raids if you're like trying to do raids against groudon so that's going to help them but a bomber snow is going to have a boosting for grass which is going to help against kyogre and groudon if you're doing those raids so i feel like the overall like king of bulk is going to be a bomber snow if you can mega one just for the extra candy coverage even if you don't care about it you might as well do one plus for the raid coverage as well additionally to factor in a bomber snow will cover the unique things like tropius if you love doing gbl and you want to catch all those tropius it has coverage there for the grass typing get your extra candies you know power up one that you want to use in pvp and it will also cover shaymin as well so you throw that ball at your shaman from the research one extra candy in there too if that matters for you if you do want to

maximize for your dragon types for your axe you i would really recommend evolving one of the latios latias or mega charizard x because at least they have some other coverage with psychic dragon or fire dragon but again the right choice is whatever one you need that's pretty much it for megas um i'm gonna set an alarm this is first hot tip i'm gonna set an alarm for 10 am on the saturday 10 a.m on the sunday that just says mega something for the love of god zoe because i've so many of the latest events i've just forgotten to make evolve anything alarms are your friend just set a little alarm in your clock on your phone so that you remember to do it i sometimes set alarms throughout the day as well around midday or in the afternoon to remind myself for putting on incense again putting on star pieces lucky eggs whatever it might be because hot tip number two even though you can stack up you know 5 10 20 20 24 hours you can stack up 24 hours of dark pieces lucky eggs you can just back to back drop them now and stack them up which is great i'm someone who's like really not stingy but i like to be very efficient with my things if i know i'm
